Since I came to Brussels in 1990, I have had the opportunity of working as a specialist in European Law in a Lawyer’s Cabinet, as an Assistant to a Member of the European Parliament (EP) and of setting up my own business, drawing up European proposals and following legislative initiatives. This work later led me naturally to transform my career and specialize in the world of Coaching, for which I have received the following certificates: Olacoach Professional and Personal Certified Coach (CPPO) (Spain); Mozaik ICF Certified School (France); Master Practitioner Certificate in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) (Belgium); Silva Method Graduated (Mental control and Relaxation); Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the ICF (USA); Inner Game Coaching and Leadership Programme Certificate, Performance Consultants International (United Kingdom); Group Coaching Essentials Certificate, Potential Realized, (Canada); Social and Emotional Intelligence (S+IE) Certified Coach, Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence (USA): and the accreditation as a Coach by the European Commission and therefore on the list of Official Coaches of the European Institutions. This career pathway has allowed me to acquire a wide experience in international relations and in the functioning of the European Institutions, in particular the EP. All this constitutes a background essential for my activities as a Coach and, more concretely, for change process management, as well as for working with people of different nationalities and professional areas. As a Professional Coach, I work with private companies and Officials of the European Commission and Parliament, and as a Personal Coach, helping adults and young people in the realisation of their professional and personal objectives. For me Coaching is more than a profession. It is practically, a “way of life”, which together with Emotional Intelligence, guides my positive approach to confronting the daily challenges of my professional and personal life.
